Now that the candy corn has been eaten, fake cobwebs pulled from the rafters, and our candy dishes are now empty from the trick or treaters, it's time to settle into November and a month of gratitude here at the Duchess.
For me, last month was insane, and things that I had planned fell to the wayside... like new videos and such. Life happens when you're making plans. This month of November I am working on a reboot of sorts, a rest before the insanity of the Winter holidays sets in. Self-care is so very important, and something that I need to get better at. As part of my reboot this month I have put together a gratitude journal using my Carpe Diem Persimmon planner and papers by Recollections. I'm doing this in preparation for creating my December daily, something I've never done before.... seriously, haven't made one before.
Well, it's after two in the morning and I seriously need to get to sleep. Time to get started on the self-care plan... one of them being getting a good night's sleep.
