Pom Pom fever, Vision Boards, and Sleep... Self Care Saturday

It's been an amazing crazy two weeks here at the Duchess... from being picked up by iTunes for the podcast to my husband blessing me with a Neewer NW-100 USB mic with telescopic boom and condenser.

the Duchess and her new toy....

Then there was this really cute case of pom pom fever induced by Heidi Swapp's new limited release Pom Pom creators (You can find them now at JoAnn stores nationwide and online @ JoAnn.com) I had so much fun with these, resulting in our craft for this week... pom pom planner clips and a Heidi Swapp approved (you can see her response on my Instagram account @theduchessofsassytown) Spring pom pom wreath. You can find the frame for the wreath at your local Dollar tree.

Is that cute or WHAT!!!???

Next week I am adding a new feature to the blog, Fab and Fabulous beauty and style for all...all ages and shapes and identities...We will talk about new fashion trends, ones that are realistic and easy on your wallet. Seriously, can a woman in New York afford a studio apartment writing for a small tabloid column afford Jimmy Choo's and Manolos? No. The Duchess will tell it like it is. Next month we will also be adding another feature... the Duchess Book Club... where she will share her book stack and then some recommendations. Do you have a book stack? Share yours with #duchessbookstackmay on Instagram and she will pick a lucky reader to win a special price....stay tuned and subscribe to The Duchess of Sassy Town podcast (now on iTunes, Spotify, Pocket Casts, Google Podcasts, Radio Public, and her platform sponsor Anchor).

So what's on the agenda today? Crafty news from the world of paper crafting, a DIY pom pom planner clip using Heidi Swapp's new pom pom makers, and for our self-care Saturday... getting the REST you need, from naps to getting a better night's sleep. (Ironically the Duchess pulled an all nighter to get this podcast out on time....) and this week's special feature of  Vision Board's for the New Quarter... (it's never to late to start), plus talking about her new fun and fab features in the coming weeks and next month's addition of The Duchess Book Club.... well I'd better motor... this podcast isn't going to record itself.
