Friday.....Yay...

Well, I never made it to Lodi last week. No one from their store called me back in regards to my email last week, and I was otherwise indisposed... Answer me this? Who totally blows off about $500 dollars worth of free advertising... evidently Memories For The Making in Lodi. I was really looking forward to visiting their store and seeing what they had to offer. Guess I won't be making that trip. Whoever is in charge of their PR and customer service needs a good talking to in my opinion.

Well, with that said, I'm going to get on with my Friday blogging... Sitting here in Panera off of Zinfandel in Rancho Cordova. Noel, their manager is the bomb, and they have this cherry pastry that is to DIE FOR! OMG! Yum. And plus, it's made with all natural ingredients.

I figured I would sit here and people watch, from my vantage point here in the cafe I can see pretty much everything. The Panera sits in the corporate heart of the City of Rancho Cordova, with VSP headquarters across the street and Verizon just around the corner a lot of business runs through here at 6 AM....

I come here this morning hoping to spark some creative inspiration for this blog. Rachel Hollis of 'Girl Wash Your Face' fame says it best 'You must be consistent with you'... as in your goals and plans, and this year 2019, The Duchess is going to soar. I can feel it in my bones. I just have to do the foot work, or brain work and typing. Right now I just want to work on getting sponsors and getting paid for what I write, and widening my audience and readership

I've got my iTunes going and listening to, wait for it... Jeff Goldblum playing jazz piano and singing with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, this album is so hip it needs it's own cafe and beret... seriously though. With guest artists such as Sarah Silverman, yes Sara Silverman singing a duet of Me and My Shadow with Jeff, the sultry musings of Haley Reinhart in My Baby Just Cares for me with Jeff on piano... (his introduction of her is adorable) and the illustrious horn player Till Bronner in Don't Mess With Mister T. This album is classic, and perfect road trip soundtrack for driving around Monterey, CA.... It's available now on iTunes.

To all you 9-5 folks... happy Friday.
