Homesick for my crafty space....

Ok ladies, I know you feel this way at some time or another.... we go on vacay, or we visit a relative for an extended period of time and pack a 'crafty survival kit' of some sort. Yet that just isn't enough, and you pine for your fortress of crafty solitude. You KNOW you have. I'm going through that right now as the hubby and I are visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. I brought my Bible journaling tote and basic paper crafting necessities, yet they are sitting in the corner of the guest bedroom untouched.

I don't know if it's because I've been not feeling great, or if it's just the lack of creative inspiration around me, but my mojo is more like NO-JO.... It's hard to be in your creative comfort zone in someone else's home... the dangers of second hand glitter and the fear you would spill paint on their beautiful hardwood floors. Plus factor in the fact you don't have your Cricut, your printer, and your comfy chair. I also craft and carry on video conversations with my crafty girls whilst snacking away... you just can't do that in someone else's home or in a hotel room... no privacy, no fortress of crafty solitude....

the Duchesses space....

We head home tomorrow... I count the hours until I can plant myself behind my desk and get to work on all the projects I've had swirling in my head the past week.
