New Year's Day... A Week Later....

Yes.... two posts in one day. Have the tendency for grand ideas and halfway through the year I'm sitting in the corner flitting my bottom lip and feeling totally overwhelmed. Why do that to myself, why do that to yourself?

1. Do I HAVE to have this vision board done before New Years Day?
2. Do I HAVE to figure out ALL of my goals for this year? Good point. I had no idea what I would be doing in September all the way back in December of the previous year. Our lives change so much, and our goals change with it.

Absolutely my dear!

Free... my word for 2018. I created mine on a cork board with push pins so that I can change it as my goals change. It's a bit busy and messy, but so am I.

Have you ever created a vision board? It's one of those things that many people create at the beginning of the new year to visually represent your goals. You can clip pictures from a magazine, you can use your own photos, you can print and cut words, and they can either go on a poster board to glue down permanently or like me, put on a cork board so that you may move around, add or subtract goals as needed. You can also create one within the pages of your journal or planner. You can share it with others, or hold it close to your heart, for only you to know. If you want to watch her broadcast from last year, click below...

1.Foam core board, with this you can use it with push pins or glue, depending on whether you want to make yours permanent or not.
2.Push pins or glue stick... no liquid rubber or liquid glue... it's stinky and messy. Keep it simple, glue sticks are easy peasy and less on the mess.
3. Magazines... one's you read and fit your lifestyle... If you are going to have goals about fitness and beauty Bass Masters magazine certainly won't be where you find your cut outs.
4. White card stock to print on
5. Photo's of your own printed out.

You might also want to have your favorite playlist going, light a scented candle... vision boarding is a very sensory immersive experience. Remember, just like your sacred space, this vision board is yours, an original, nothing else like it.

Stay tuned this Friday for the 2nd installment in the Sacred Spaces. Please subscribe and share!
