Pumpkin spice and 90 Degrees...

Can't believe this week is over with, and yes! This is my second blog post this week! Yeah, well, I am working hard to bring you consistent blog posts. Not only is this week almost over with, this month is almost over with. Unbelievable. October on Sunday already? I know most of you are already on your tenth pumpkin spice latte... me? Not so much. It's been in the 90's here and a little hard to get in the mood for pumpkin spice and all that's Fall. I was born and raised in Florida and spent a lot of Christmas' in shorts playing in my front yard when I was a kid. Now I live in Northern California and I finally get to see the seasons change. The leaves turn a spectrum of bright orange and red as the air turns cool. I can go outside and smell fireplaces burning and the crisp Fall air.... ahhhh October. Right now as October is literally days away I am anticipating the cooler weather, the hoodies, and hot apple cider. What are your Fall traditions? I never really had any except trick or treating on Halloween as a child. In my twenties I celebrated that time honored Tampa tradition of Guavaween, sort of light Mardi Gras and Halloween rolled into one, celebrated in Tampa's Cuban community. Now that I'm 'adulting', married and have a home of my own I have found myself anticipating making a Fall wreath, and creating Halloween decorations to my huge bay window in the front of my condo. Sigh...
