Merry Christmas! I am SO OVER 2023. I don't know where to start... first of all I started January getting Covid again... and throughout the year.... May, I coded on the table after a heart attack. June, I had another stroke, and my beloved fur baby Tybalt died. July... my cousin Nancy lost her 22 year battle with breast cancer. This year was full of health struggles, both mental and physical. Ended the year dealing with depression and the loss of a longtime friend. I've been struggling with my faith journey. 2023 has just stunk like a day old loaded diaper. It can only get better, right? I HOPE so....
Hope. My word for 2024. Seems fitting doesn't it? Time to slough off the train wreck that was 2023. There was some good, I found a new therapist and reconnected with one of my favorite psychiatrist Dr. Archana Trivedi. I also stepped back from some toxic friendships. What is my plan for the start of the new year?
1. Self-care in all areas of my life, with a strong emphasis on physical and mental health
2. Work on sorting out my podcast. It's been out of order since the start of 2022...
3. GET BEHIND MY CRAFT DESK AND CREATE!!!!!
4. Get my house in order... clean out closet, rearrange closet.....
5. Reconnect with my crew...make it to a meeting....
6. Nurture friendships
